Application for Adoptions
Welcome to the new section of the Jersey Shore Animal Center website dealing with applications for adoptions. You will now be able to fill out your application online and submit it directly to our staff.
What to do next?
1)
Fill out an application online or print one
here to fax, email, or hand in.
2) If you have not owned a cat/dog in the last 5 years you must also fill out the "non pet questionnaire".
3) As in the past, it will take 24-48 hours for the application process to move forward, you MUST call after 1pm the following day.
a. Decisions on applications submitted Friday-Sunday will not be available until after 1:00 pm on Monday.
If you have difficulties filling out the online version of the Cat or Dog application or you would like to fill one out for a Bird, Small Animal, or Reptile, please print one here.

The Jersey Shore Animal Center is dedicated to placing our animals in their forever homes through our adoption process. Due to our lifelong return policy we prefer to adopt our pets locally, we are not adopting to out of state residents. We do not list our pets on EBay or Craig's List, nor do we sell any animal.
The information you provide when creating a user account and password will not be sold, rented or given to any other entity. It will be for the sole use of the Jersey Shore Animal Center during the review of your application.
If you have already started an application, we will recall your progress and you may edit and complete your information at anytime.
