A bequest can be made by using the simple clause: “I bequeath to the Jersey Shore Animal Center, 185 Brick Boulevard, Brick, New Jersey 08723, the sum of $____________ to be applied to the general care and protection of the animals.”

If you wish to bequeath tangible property we suggest you contact your attorney to make the appropriate provisions in your will.

Regardless of your age or health it is important to appoint a family member or trusted friend to be responsible for any of your pets. It is imperative that your wishes be in writing with copies given to the person you most trust including your attorney.
